BOOK REVIEW:
THE GREENLEAF GUIDE TO OLD TESTMENT HISTORY
Reviewed by: D. McNett, Valyermo, California
This guide makes it easy to go through Old Testament history with your students. The guide goes chapter by chapter and contains study questions. There are personal notes from the authors regarding how to handle difficult situations in the text. I found it helpful to see how someone else handled delicate subjects (i.e. circumcision or Sodom and Gomorrah). We are only part way through the guide. We'll let you know how it turns out.

Although this book is intended as an early elementary course it is wonderful for studying the Old Testament chronologically with older students. The discussion questions in the guide are great and often can be used as life application questions. There are often background notes that are interesting and very helpful with your study. Occasionally there is an activity suggested, usually chart making that really help to put things in order.

I LOVE IT! This starts off a 7 year history study in chronological order. What a concept! The format is easy, the lessons are interesting and the discussions are priceless. Very well done and worth the time spent. This is my son's favorite subject this year. (Mine too!).
