BOOK REVIEW:
BUSY TIMES, MORE BUSY TIMES, CLIMBING HIGHER
Reviewed by: D. McNett, Valyermo, California
These charming Amish readers continue stories of the family that the first grade reader introduced. They also develop new friendships and experiences. These are wholesome stories that emphasize the importance of families and good morals. Our family enjoys reading them even when our reading period is over.

These Amish readers are a wonderful next step after Teach Your Child To Read In 100 Easy Lessons. The stories are wholesome, centering around farm life and children who obey and respect others. The black and white pictures are simple, yet delightful. Our children love these, and want us to save them for their children! We tried one of the corresponding workbooks, but felt it was unnecessary busy work.
